The menials of a To Do List may distract you from larger more meaningful outcomes.  A more focused Results List will require things to get done while putting a priority on a purposeful outcome.

be grateful for everything

(even our challenges because it could always be worse)
Gratitude helps encourage positive emotions; enhance good experiences; improve health; deal with adversity and build healthier relationships.  Making a negative situation unrealistically positive is unnecessary.  Just find a positive aspect to help make it more acceptable.

Practice Conscious Thinking

Thoughts only become powerful when they have emotion behind them.  If it is a negative thought, take away that power of emotion.  Better yet, think it all the way through and understand the reason for the feeling.  By understanding it, you can bring consciousness to it and change it.

Put My Pants On Standing Up

Or do yoga, or play hopscotch…  Anything that creates balance.   We don’t lose our balance because we age.  We lose it because we quit using it.  Find simple ways daily to build those balance muscles.

Listening without offering advice or an argument is called Active Listening.  This indicates respect for the thoughts and feelings of the other person.  To do so, stay present without jumping ahead to solutions or conclusions.  Watch magic happen.

Eliminate Digital Overload

Allow the psyche to disconnect from constant interruption.  Give yourself the gift of an hour in the morning of uninterrupted time before picking up your phone.  Add an hour at night before bed for even more benefit.  This break from digital overload gives your mind time to recharge resulting in clarity and focus throughout your day.
