Learning something new helps your brain build new cells and strengthen existing pathways. It improves cognitive function; concentration and reduces the chance of developing dementia. And ~ it’s amazingly satisfying.
I Feel Lucky
tell someone I love them or respect them
There are many health benefits to expressing love and respect such as lower stress hormones; cholesterol; blood pressure and a stronger immune system (for both the giver and receiver). Plus, it’s contagious.
begin to put money away for a rewarding experience
This generates anticipation of something good in your future. To solidify your intent, appropriately name your savings account or put a sticker on your stash of cash. Psychologically, this creates incentive to leave it in place.
enable someone to see their potential
People live up to your expectations. Communicate a higher potential for someone than they believe to be true for themselves. Then watch the magic to happen.
create a Results List versus a To Do List
The menials of a To Do List may distract you from larger more meaningful outcomes. A more focused Results List will require things to get done while putting a priority on a purposeful outcome.
be grateful for everything
(even our challenges because it could always be worse)
Gratitude helps encourage positive emotions; enhance good experiences; improve health; deal with adversity and build healthier relationships. Making a negative situation unrealistically positive is unnecessary. Just find a positive aspect to help make it more acceptable.
