Learning something new helps your brain build new cells and strengthen existing pathways. It improves cognitive function; concentration and reduces the chance of developing dementia. And ~ it’s amazingly satisfying.

tell someone I love them or respect them

There are many health benefits to expressing love and respect such as lower stress hormones; cholesterol; blood pressure and a stronger immune system (for both the giver and receiver).  Plus, it’s contagious.

begin to put money away for a rewarding experience

This generates anticipation of something good in your future.  To solidify your intent, appropriately name your savings account or put a sticker on your stash of cash.  Psychologically, this creates incentive to leave it in place.

be grateful for everything

(even our challenges because it could always be worse)
Gratitude helps encourage positive emotions; enhance good experiences; improve health; deal with adversity and build healthier relationships.  Making a negative situation unrealistically positive is unnecessary.  Just find a positive aspect to help make it more acceptable.
